Cross-border payment costs

The following table lists the total currency conversion charges for card transactions and the Mastercard exchange rates compared to the ECB foreign exchange reference rates that apply on the date you choose, for the European Economic Area currencies. Total currency conversion charges for card transactions in this table are expressed in the form of a mark-up to the most recently available euro foreign exchange reference rates published by the ECB.

The exchange rates in the table above represent the amount of euros required to buy a single unit of the foreign currency.

The ECB exchange reference rate for each currency is cited for your information, to achieve transparency and comparability for the currency conversion charges for card transactions.

Total currency conversion charges for card transactions include rates and expenses of the card association (Mastercard).

Total currency conversion charges for card transactions on the card transaction date may differ from the total currency conversion charges for card transactions applying on the settlement date of the said transaction due to potential fluctuations in the foreign exchange rates.
